Poppy Seed Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 bone-in chicken breast halves, skinned
    2 (10 3/4 oz.) cans cream of chicken soup, undiluted
    3 (8 oz.) containers sour cream
    1/4 c. sherry
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 1/2 c. crushed round buttery crackers (about 35 to 40 crackers)
    2 Tbsp. poppy seed
    1/3 c. butter or margarine, melted
Preparation
    Place chicken breasts in a large Dutch oven and add water to cover.
    Bring to a boil over high heat.
    Reduce heat and simmer 45 minutes or until tender.
    Remove chicken from broth and cool, reserving broth for other uses.
