Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. oil
    1 c. corn meal
    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. sugar
    4 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. milk
    1 egg, beaten
Preparation
    Heat oven to 425\u00b0.
    Put
    oil in a cast iron skillet and place in oven to get hot while you mix everything together
    Sift all dry ingredients together, stir to make sure they are completely blended.
    Add
    milk and egg and stir just until everything is blended.
    Stir in some of the hot oil
    just until blended, do not over stir.
    Pour into hot skillet.
    Bake for 20
    minutes or until golden brown.
