Molasses-Pecan Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 eggs
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. light molasses
1 Tbsp. cornmeal
1 tsp. vinegar
1/4 c. butter, melted
1 c. chopped pecans
pastry (recipe follows)
whipped cream (optional)
pecan half (optional)
Preparation

Beat eggs at medium speed of an electric mixer until thick and lemon colored.
Add sugar and next 4 ingredients; beat until blended.
Stir in chopped pecans. Pour mixture into pastry shell. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
Let cool completely.
Garnish with whipped cream and a pecan half, if desired.
