Berry-Mandarin Tossed Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. cider vinegar
2 Tbsp. honey
1 1/4 tsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. paprika
1/2 tsp. ground mustard
1/2 tsp. grated onion
1/2 tsp. celery seed
dash of salt
1/3 c. vegetable oil
8 c. torn salad greens
2 c. sliced fresh strawberries
1 (11 oz.) can mandarin oranges, drained
1 medium sweet onion, sliced
1/3 c. toasted slivered almonds
4 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled
Preparation

In a 2-cup microwavable bowl, combine sugar, vinegar, honey, lemon juice, paprika, mustard, onion, celery seed and salt. Microwave uncovered on High for 1 1/2 to 2 minutes.
Stir until sugar is dissolved.
Whisk in oil.
Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
In salad bowl, combine greens, strawberries, oranges, onion, almonds and bacon.
Drizzle with dressing and gently toss to coat.
Yield: 12 to 14 servings.
