Ed'S Cod Av Vin - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. frying chicken, cut up
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 stick butter
    1 small can mushrooms
    1 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 c. dry red wine
Preparation
    Combine flour, salt and pepper.
    Use it to flour chicken. Melt butter in a large pan.
    Brown the chicken well, then add the wine (enough to cover the chicken).
    Cover and let simmer for about 50 minutes.
    Drain mushrooms and add to chicken a few minutes before serving.
    Serve with baked potatoes, tossed salad, hot French bread and wine.
