White Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. Crisco
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    5 egg whites
    2 c. cake flour
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Beat egg whites until firm.
    Blend sugar and Crisco.
    Add flour, baking powder, salt and vanilla alternately with milk. Fold in beaten egg whites.
    Bake in two 8-inch pans lined with wax paper.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
    Remove from pans; cool.
    Frost with Baker's Icing.
