Moon Shaped Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. butter
    6 eggs, separated
    1 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    juice and rind of 1 lemon
    finely ground nuts
Preparation
    Cream sugar and butter.
    Add egg yolks.
    Mix well.
    Add sifted flour, baking powder, lemon juice and grated rind.
    Mix well. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.
    Pour into greased and floured large square pan or jelly roll pan.
    Sprinkle top with finely chopped nuts.
    Bake 25 to 30 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Cut with round cutter in shape of half moon (using only half of the cutter).
