Fresh Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. salad oil
    2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. soda
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 c. chopped raw apples
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Prepare raw apples which have been peeled and chopped fine. Sift dry ingredients together; set aside. Beat eggs well; add sugar and salad oil. Cream together. Add dry ingredients and mix until well blended. Fold in chopped apples and nuts. (If this is too thick, add a little milk.) Bake in a 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 60 minutes.
    Serve with ice cream.
