Apple Cake Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 large apples, cored and thinly sliced
    1 tsp. lemon juice
    1/4 c. butter or oleo
    1 egg, beaten
    1/2 c. sifted flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/8 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Place apples in 10-inch well greased pie pan. Cover with 1/4 cup sugar. Cream together butter and remaining sugar.
    Add eggs and mix. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Mix with creamed mixture. Spread over fruit. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
