Cream Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/3 c. flour
2/3 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
2 c. milk
2 Tbsp. butter
2 slightly beaten egg yolks
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 baked pastry shell
Preparation

Mix flour, sugar and salt thoroughly.
Bring milk to scalding and add dry ingredients gradually, stirring often, until thick, about 15 minutes.
Add butter and egg yolks; cook 2 minutes longer.
Cool and add vanilla.
Pour into baked pastry shell and cover with meringue.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 7 to 10 minutes or until golden brown.
