Peanut Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1 stick butter
    3/4 c. milk
    1 1/2 to 2 c. ground peanuts
Preparation
    Use a heavy saucepan or skillet.
    Bring first three ingredients to a full boil.
    Cook for 3 minutes.
    Add 1/2 teaspoon vanilla and peanuts.
    Remove from heat.
    Set pan in cold water and stir until it thickens.
    Pour into butter plate; cut into squares.
