Pumpkin Patch Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/8 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. butter
    1 c. sugar
    3/4 c. canned pumpkin
    1/2 to 3/4 tsp. almond extract
    4 eggs
    whipped cream (optional)
    toasted almonds (optional)
Preparation
    Combine flour, baking powder and salt.
    Set aside.
    Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
    Add pumpkin and almond extract; mix well.
    Add eggs one at a time.
    Add dry ingredients and blend well.
    Pour batter into greased 9 x 5-inch loaf pan.
    Tap gently to remove air bubbles.
    Bake in preheated 350\u00b0 oven for 60 to 65 minutes.
