German Chocolate Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 oz. pkg. German chocolate
1/4 c. butter or margarine
1 can evaporated milk
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/8 tsp. salt
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1 unbaked deep dish pie shell
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1 1/2 c. flaked coconut
Preparation

In saucepan, melt chocolate and butter over low heat, stirring to mix.
Remove from heat and gradually blend in milk and set aside.
In bowl, combine sugar, cornstarch and salt.
Stir in eggs and vanilla.
Gradually stir in chocolate mixture.
Pour into pie shell that has been coated with a small amount of sugar and flour.
Combine pecans and coconut and sprinkle over filling. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes.
Cool and chill.
