Chicken Mornay For 2 - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 chicken breasts
    3/4 c. flour
    2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/8 tsp. ginger
    3/4 c. butter (1 1/2 sticks)
    1 c. water
    1/2 c. cream
    1/2 c. milk
    1 c. liquid from frypan (see recipe)
    1 c. grated American cheese
    1 c. diced canned mushrooms
Preparation
    Coat chicken breasts with 1/2 cup flour combined with 1 teaspoon salt, pepper and ginger.
    Shake in paper bag to coat. Brown on all sides in 1/2 cup butter in heavy frypan.
    Cover.
    Cook over low heat 30 to 45 minutes or until tender (a little water may be added if necessary).
