Shoe Peg Corn Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. vegetable oil
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
    1 can small green peas, drained
    1 can Shoe Peg corn, drained
    1 can French-style green beans, drained
    1 medium onion, finely chopped
    1 green bell pepper, chopped
    1 small jar pimentos
Preparation
    Combine oil, sugar, vinegar, salt and pepper in saucepan. Bring to a boil; cook until sugar is dissolved, stirring constantly.
    Combine the vegetables in a salad bowl; mix lightly. Pour hot dressing over vegetables; toss lightly.
    Marinate, covered, in refrigerator overnight.
    Drain 1/2 of marinade from salad before serving.
    Makes 6 to 8 servings.
