Pineapple Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    2 sticks butter
    2 3/4 c. sugar
    6 large eggs
    2 1/2 c. plain flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3/4 c. undrained crushed pineapple
Preparation
    Cream shortening, butter and sugar; add eggs one at a time and beat well.
    Add flour and baking powder alternately with milk. Add vanilla and pineapple; blend well.
    Place in cold oven. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
    Let stand a few minutes before removing cake from pan.
