Chow Chow - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 medium onions (4 c.)
    1 medium cabbage (4 c.)
    10 green tomatoes
    12 green peppers
    6 red peppers
    1/2 c. salt
    6 c. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. turmeric
    2 Tbsp. mustard seed
    4 c. cider vinegar
    2 c. white vinegar
Preparation
    Grind onions, cabbage, tomatoes, green and red peppers and sprinkle with salt.
    Soak overnight and drain.
