Ingredients

1/4 c. flour
1 c. sugar
2 egg yolks, beaten
1 Tbsp. butter
3 Tbsp. vinegar
1 baked pie shell
1 recipe meringue
Preparation

Combine flour and 1/2 cup sugar in double boiler.
Stir in 1 cup boiling water.
Cook for 15 minutes.
Stir in 1 cup boiling water.
Cook for 15 minutes, stirring frequently.
Add remaining 1/2 cup sugar and egg yolks.
Cook until thickened, stirring frequently.
Add butter and vinegar.
Pour into pie shell.
Cover with meringue, sealing to edge.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for several minutes, or until brown.
