Apple Crisp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 c. water
    6 to 8 tart apples, peeled and chopped
    3/4 c. flour
    2 tsp. lemon juice
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. salt
    6 Tbsp. oleo
Preparation
    Combine 1/2 cup sugar, lemon juice, water and cinnamon in 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan.
    Slice apples into pan.
    Blend 1/2 cup sugar, the flour, salt and oleo until crumbly.
    Pour over apples.
    Pat smooth.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes.
