Jewish Coffee Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. raisins
    1 1/2 c. water
    1 1/2 c. granulated sugar
    3 c. flour (scant)
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    3/4 c. oil
    3 beaten eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 c. chopped citron (optional)
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Boil raisins and water for 1 minute and set aside.
