Scalloped Onions - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 large onions
6 slices bread, cubed
6 slices American cheese, cut up
2 c. medium white sauce
buttered bread crumbs
Preparation

Peel onions and slice in thick slices.
Cook in boiling water until tender.
Drain.
In greased casserole, arrange layers of onions, bread cubes, cheese and sauce.
Top with buttered crumbs. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes until bubbly and lightly browned.
