Chafing Dish Meatballs - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 lb. ground beef
1 c. dried bread crumbs
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 c. milk
1/2 c. liquid shortening (divide this among the number of pans needed for meatballs)
4 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
1 1/2 c. barbecue sauce
1/2 c. chili sauce
1/2 c. water
2 (20 oz.) cans pineapple chunks, drained
1 large jar cherries, drained
4 c. canned tomato juice
Preparation

Early in day, mix beef, bread crumbs, salt, pepper, eggs and milk.
Shape into balls and place in shallow pan (pour shortening on bottom of pan).
Refrigerate.
