Dan'S Refrigerator Bran Muffins - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. water
5 tsp. baking soda
1 c. oil
2 c. sugar
4 beaten eggs
2 c. whole wheat flour
3 c. white flour
1 tsp. salt
4 c. All-Bran cereal
2 c. 40% Bran Flakes
1 qt. buttermilk
2 c. chopped raisins, dates or nuts (optional)
Preparation

Boil water; add baking soda and set aside to cool.
Mix oil and sugar.
Add eggs; stir in water and soda.
Add flours, salt and cereals.
Stir gradually and add buttermilk.
Add raisins, dates or nuts if desired.
Put into greased tins, filling 2/3 full.
Bake at 425\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
Keep remaining batter in refrigerator, tightly covered.
This batter keeps up to six weeks.
