Banana Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 3/4 c. flour (plain)
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. mashed bananas
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Cream shortening and sugar.
    Add eggs, 1 at a time (beat well).
    Sift dry.
    Add flour, then bananas and then flour.
    Add nuts last.
    Grease a 9 x 5 x 3-inch pan; bake for 40 to 45 minutes.
