Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks soft butter
    1/2 c. (scant) Crisco
    3 c. granulated sugar
    5 large eggs (if small, use 6)
    3/4 c. buttermilk
    3 c. plain flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 Tbsp. vanilla, lemon or rum flavoring
Preparation
    Combine the first 4 ingredients, beating well. Add dry ingredients alternately with milk, ending with flour. Beat well. Add flavoring.
    Bake in greased tube pan at 350\u00b0 for 75 to 85 minutes.
    Let set for 1 day before eating.
