Zucchini Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    7 or 8 medium zucchini, cut 1/4 slices
    1 c. water
    8 slices bacon, diced
    1 large onion, chopped (about 1 c.)
    1 large garlic clove, minced
    2 c. sharp Cheddar cheese
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. Italian seasoning
    dash of pepper
    1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Cook zucchini in large kettle, salted boiling water until tender, about 5 minutes.
    Drain.
    In medium skillet, cook bacon until crisp; remove from pan.
    Add onion and garlic to skillet and saute until onion is
    tender.
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Stir onion-bacon mixture into drained zucchini; add remaining ingredients except Parmesan cheese and toss until well coated. Spoon zucchini into a 13 x 9-inch baking dish.
    Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
    Bake for 20 minutes or until bubbly.
    Makes 10 to 12 servings.
    Contains about 200 calories per 10 servings.
