Shrimp Creole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1/4 c. diced green pepper
    1/4 c. minced onion
    1/2 c. diced celery
    1 Tbsp. flour
    2 c. or (1 lb.) can peeled tomatoes
    1 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 bay leaf
    1 sprig parsley
    1 1/2 c. cooked shrimp
    1/4 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 1/3 c. rice
Preparation
    Melt butter in saucepan.
    Add green pepper, onion and celery. Saute about 5 minutes or until tender.
    Blend in flour.
    Gradually add tomatoes.
    Add salt, pepper, sugar, bay leaf and parsley. Simmer gently, uncovered, for 30 minutes.
    Remove bay leaf and parsley.
    Add shrimp and Worcestershire sauce.
    Heat thoroughly. Prepare rice as directed on package.
    Serve Creole over rice. Makes about 4 servings.
