Green Chili And Tomato Chicken - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 broiler-fryer chicken, cut up
3/4 c. Flav-O-Rite flour
salt
pepper
2 c. oil
16 oz. picante sauce
1 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
Preparation

Rinse chicken under cool water; pat dry.
Place flour in a shallow bowl and season as desired.
Roll chicken pieces in flour. Heat oil.
Carefully add chicken.
Fry 20 to 25 minutes, or until done.
Just before chicken is done, heat picante sauce.
Remove chicken; drain well.
Remove oil from pan.
Return chicken to pan and top with picante sauce.
Sprinkle with cheese.
Cover and remove from heat.
Let stand 5 minutes.
