Mexican Cornbread 1 - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. plain cornmeal
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. soda
    2 eggs
    2/3 c. milk
    1/2 c. oil
    8 oz. creamed corn
    1 c. grated cheese
    1 can green chilies, chopped and drained
Preparation
    Mix first 3 ingredients.
    Mix next 4 ingredients.
    Add dry ingredients.
    Mix together well.
    Pour half of the mixture into greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Sprinkle 1/2 cup grated cheese and 1/2 can chilies over cornmeal mixture.
    Pour remaining mixture over the top and add 1/2 cup grated cheese and the other half of the green chilies.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
