Sauerkraut Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large can sauerkraut, washed and rinsed
    1 c. tomato sauce
    1 large sliced onions
    1 lb. Polish sausage
    bacon fat or oil
    1 can mushrooms
    1 pkg. onion soup mix
    1 can butter beans
Preparation
    Cook sauerkraut and tomato sauce together for 3 minutes.
    In pan, brown sausage and onions in bacon fat.
    Cook 5 minutes.
    Add 3 tablespoons flour to make it tan.
    Mix sauerkraut, mushrooms, beans and soup mix in a 2 1/2 to 3-quart casserole.
    Add sausage and onion mixture and bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 30 minutes or until heated through.
    (Can substitute hot dogs or ham if you wish.)
