Crab Puffs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 egg whites
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 1/4 c. mayonnaise
    8 oz. flaked crab meat
    1 Tbsp. freeze dried chives
    freshly ground pepper
    ground red pepper
    16 slices bread, well toasted (crusts trimmed) and halved diagonally
    paprika (garnish)
Preparation
    Beat egg whites until foamy.
    Add cream of tartar and continue beating until very stiff.
    Combine mayonnaise, crabmeat, chives and peppers in another bowl.
    Fold into whites, blending well.
