Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    2 c. sugar
    2 eggs (unbeaten)
    2 tsp. vanilla
    6 c. unsifted flour
    2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. sour milk or cream (can use canned milk; sour by adding 1 Tbsp. vinegar)
Preparation
    Cream butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla.
    Add sour milk.
    Add dry ingredients.
    Stir well.
    Add a little more flour if needed.
    Put on floured board and roll 1/4-inch thick.
    Cut into desired shapes. Bake at 400\u00b0 for 8 minutes.
    Makes 5 dozen.
    When cool, frost with powdered sugar icing.
