24 Hour Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 slightly beaten egg yolks
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
    1 1/2 c. whipped cream
    2 c. miniature marshmallows
    1/4 c. butter
    1 can pineapple chunks
    2 Tbsp. pineapple syrup
    2 small cans mandarin oranges
    1 can fruit cocktail
    salt to taste
Preparation
    Put 2 tablespoons pineapple syrup, egg yolks, sugar, vinegar, butter and salt in a small pan.
    Heat on low and stir until mixture thickens slightly (about 10 minutes).
    Cool.
