Tom Wopat'S Beef Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 lb. beef stew meat, cut into 3/4-inch cubes
    3/4 c. margarine
    1 (14 1/2 oz.) can beef broth
    3 medium potatoes, cubed
    2 c. chopped carrots
    2 large onions, chopped
    1 c. chopped celery
    1 c. frozen peas
Preparation
    Combine flour, salt and pepper in a bag.
    Add meat; shake meat to coat.
    Melt margarine in a large pan.
    Brown meat.
    Add beef broth.
    Cook, covered, over low heat for 15 to 20 minutes.
    Add potatoes, carrots, onions and celery.
    Cover and cook for 1 to 1 1/4 hours, until tender.
    Add peas; cook until heated through. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
