Cream Cheese Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

1 8 oz. package cream cheese
4 eggs
sugar
vanilla
unbaked 9 inch pie shell
1 1/4 cups chopped pecans
1 cup light corn syrup
1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation

Beat cream cheese, 1 egg, 1/3 cup sugar and 1 tsp. vanilla until smooth. Spread over bottom of pie shell. Sprinkle pecans over this. Beat remaining eggs until frothy. Add corn syrup, 1/4 cup sugar, salt and 1 tsp. vanilla. Beat until blended. Pour this over pecans. Bake in 375\u00b0 oven until knife inserted half way between the the center and edge comes out clean, about 40 minutes. Place on wire rack to cool.
