Oyster Bisque - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1 small onion, minced
    1 small stalk celery, minced
    1/4 tsp. paprika
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1 c. fresh oysters, drained
    2 c. chicken broth
    1 c. milk (may use part cream)
Preparation
    In heavy saucepan, saute onion, celery and paprika in butter until transparent.
    Bring oysters to a boil in the chicken broth. Pour liquid into sauteed mixture.
    Add milk mixed with flour and heat until thickened; simmer slowly 5 minutes.
    Add oysters and correct seasoning.
    Improves with standing and may be refrigerated for 2 to 3 days.
