Caramel Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    2 c. sugar
    3 c. cake flour
    4 large eggs
    3 tsp. baking powder
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Sift flour with baking powder and salt.
    Cream butter thoroughly.
    Gradually add sugar, creaming it until light and fluffy.
    Add unbeaten eggs and beat well.
    Alternately add milk and flour.
    Begin and end with flour.
    Beat until smooth.
    Add flavoring.
    Bake in layers in 350\u00b0 oven for 25 to 30 minutes.
