Fruit Filling - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. dried apples
    1 c. brown sugar, packed
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    1/2 tsp. allspice
Preparation
    Cover apples with water.
    Cook until tender, about 20 minutes. Drain.
    While apples are hot, add remaining ingredients.
    Stir well until sugar dissolves.
