Gingerbread House Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. ginger
    1 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. allspice
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 1/2 c. molasses
    6 1/2 c. flour
    2/3 c. water
Preparation
    Mix the shortening and sugar.
    Add spices and molasses.
    Mix the soda and salt into flour; mix, alternating the flour and the water.
    Chill several hours or overnight.
    Roll dough to 1/4 inch thick and cut out with gingerbread cutter.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
