Chicken Croquettes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 Tbsp. butter
    4 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 c. milk
    2 tsp. parsley flakes
    2 c. chicken, cut up
    1 tsp. lemon juice
    1 Tbsp. water
    1 tsp. minced onion
    1 egg, well beaten
    1 c. bread crumbs
Preparation
    Melt butter in frypan; saute onion until tender.
    Stir in flour; remove from heat.
    Add milk.
    Heat to boiling point.
    Stir until thickened; fold in chicken, parsley, salt and pepper.
    Cover and chill good.
    Heat oil.
    Beat egg with water.
    Spread crumbs on wax paper.
    Shape in patties; roll in crumbs, then egg mixture and again in crumbs.
    Fry in oil; drain on paper towels.
    Serve with ketchup.
    Serves 4.
