Apple Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 1/2 Tbsp. softened butter or margarine
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 well beaten egg
    2 large apples, peeled, cored and chopped
    1 1/4 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Stir-mix until dry ingredients are moistened. Pour into greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
    Serve plain or with whipped cream.
