Mexican Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. cornmeal
    1 c. cream-style corn
    1 c. buttermilk
    1/2 c. vegetable oil
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. sugar
    2 jalapeno peppers, chopped fine
    1/4 c. finely chopped onion
    2 Tbsp. minced green pepper
    1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients, except cheese, in large bowl. Mix well. Pour half of mixture into greased 10-inch iron frypan.
    Top with cheese and add remaining ingredients.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 for about 30 minutes or until done.
