Ice Cream Pail Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    10 medium pickling cucumbers
    2 large onions
    3 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. celery seed
    2 c. white vinegar
    1/2 tsp. turmeric
    1/2 tsp. mustard seed
Preparation
    Boil.
    Pour over cucumbers and onions.
    Weigh down with a plate.
    Leave on counter for 3 to 4 hours, stirring occasionally. Put into jars and refrigerate immediately.
    Keeps well.
    These are great bread and butter pickles!
