Easy Lasagna - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1/8 tsp. garlic powder
    1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    2 lbs. ground beef
    salt and pepper
    1 Tbsp. parsley flakes
    2-3 tsp. basil leaves
    2 cans (15 oz. each) tomato sauce
    1 can (6 oz.) tomato paste
    10 oz. lasagna noodles
    2 containers (12 oz. each) creamed cottage cheese
    1 c. grated Parmesan cheese
    2 eggs
    3 pkg. (8 oz. each) Mozzarella cheese, sliced
Preparation
    In heavy bottomed pot or Dutch oven, lightly brown onion sprinkled with garlic powder in oil.
    Add beef and brown.
    Add 1 teaspoon salt, dash of pepper, and the next four ingredients. Bring to a boil and simmer, uncovered for 30-40 minutes.
