Fried Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. regular long grain rice
    1 stick margarine
    1 medium onion, diced
    2 chicken bouillon cubes
    1 1/4 tsp. salt
    2 1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Melt margarine in shallow skillet with lid.
    Add onion and saute.
    Add rice and fry, stirring frequently until has white porcelain appearance (do not brown).
    Add crumbled chicken cubes and salt.
    Stir well. Add water, stir well, cover and cook over medium heat until rice is tender (approximately 20 minutes).
    Do not stir while rice is cooking.
    Yields 6 servings.
