Brown Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 carrot
    2 stalks celery
    1 small onion, sliced
    4 Tbsp. beef bass
    4 qt. water
    1/2 tsp. whole black peppercorns
    1/2 tsp. garlic
    1/2 tsp. thyme
    1/2 tsp. basil
    1/2 tsp. rosemary
    3 bay leaves
    flour
Preparation
    Add peppercorns, garlic, thyme, basil, rosemary, bay leaves and beef bass; simmer on low for 3 hours.
    Mix flour and water. Wash, then add to stock until it thickens.
    Reduce heat for 10 minutes, then strain.
