Pineapple Cream Cheese Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. can crushed pineapple
    2 (3 oz.) pkg. orange jello
    1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
    1 jar maraschino cherries
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 pt. whipping cream
Preparation
    Heat pineapple and juice (need 4 cups liquid; may need to add additional water, if necessary).
    Add jello.
    Remove from heat. Stir.
    Cut cream cheese and add to jello mixture. Stir in salt. Refrigerate for approximately 2 hours.
    Stir in cherries.
    Beat whipping cream. Fold into mixture.
