Apricot Preserve Cake - cooking recipe

2 c. sugar
2 sticks butter, soft
4 eggs
1 c. apricot preserves
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. soda
3 c. flour
1 c. pecans
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 oz. pkg. apricots, chopped
Preparation

Cream the sugar and butter.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well. Add preserves. Blend.
Dissolve soda in buttermilk.
Sift flour and cinnamon together. Add to creamed mixture alternately with buttermilk. Stir in chopped apricots and nuts.
Bake in greased and floured Bundt pan in a 325\u00b0 oven for
1 to 1 1/2 hours. Cool 10 minutes. Remove from pan.
