Chocolate Layer Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. cake flour
    4 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. butter or margarine
    2 c. sugar
    5 eggs
    1 1/4 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    Baker's Joy
Preparation
    Sift together flour and baking powder.
    Cream butter; gradually add sugar until light and fluffy.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each.
    Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with buttermilk.
    Add extract.
    Pour into three greased and floured (Baker's Joy) 9-inch pans.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
    Remove from oven and place on cake racks and let cool in pans.
