Stuffed Grape Leaves - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 clove garlic
    1 lb. fresh tender grape leaves
    4 c. meat and rice stuffing (see stuffing recipe)
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. lemon juice
    1 tsp. dried mint
    water as needed
Preparation
    Soften leaves by dipping a few at a time in boiling water. One leaf at a time, lay it down with the rough side up and plac a teaspoon of stuffing in the center.
    Fold bottom of leaf over the stuffing, then fold it from each side to the middle.
    Roll tightly, forming a roll about 3 to 4 inches long and 1/2 to 1 inch long.
    Pack rolls, open ends down, in tight rows and layer on a steamer rack in saucepan.
    Sprinkle each layer with salt and lemon juice.
    Crush garlic.
    Mix with remaining lemon juice and pour over the last layer or rolls.
    Simmer in steamer for about 1 1/2 hours or until leaves and stuffing are tender.
